Thanks for dropping by to read a little about me.
I'm a photographer based in Edinburgh. I've been into photography for years, but only really took a serious interest a couple of years ago. Since then I've found that my favoured area of photography is with people, by a long way.
People are such a blank canvas, and everyone brings their own unique perspective to a shoot, so you never know quite what's going to happen. I like that. Who wants a boring life, eh?
I'm also disabled. I've got problems with my back that require me to use crutches to stand up or walk, however some of these photos were taken before I ended up on crutches and some weren't.
I'd be interested if you could tell the difference....
Because of my disability I tend to work a little different from other photographers and plan my schedule very carefully. It ensures I have the energy to do the job, and I have the time when I get home to rest so can immediately start editing. A fringe benefit of this is a very quick turnaround on the images!
I like to get a really good feel for what it is that we're trying to achieve, so I'm a big fan of pre-shoot communication.
Anyway, I love photography, and I love the images I've created. I hope you do too. Get in touch if you need a photographer, or simply want to say hello. You can always keep up to date with the latest goings-on on my blog too.
